escape velocity of earth is 11.2km/sec
now a/c
velocity of body=11.2/4=2.8km/sec
at maximum height velocity of body =0
use
v^2=u^2+2as
0=2800m/sec-2(9.8m/sec^2).h
where h is height of body from the earth surface .
h=2800/19.6=28000/196=1000/7m from earth surface .
