The mass of the body is

K.E of the body = 10 J

Height attained by the body = 5 metres

To Find:-

Mass of the body = ?

Solution:-

Kinetic Energy = Potential energy at that height [as it reaches its maximum height]

* Kinetic energy is equal to Potential energy when the body reaches its maximum height.

Hence,

10 = m × 10 × 5

10 = 50 × m

m = \sf{\dfrac{10}{50}}

m = 0.2 kg

Therefore, the mass of the body is 0.2 kg or 200g.
