(a) height in 1 sec is S=ut+0.5at2= (29.4*1)+(0.5*(-9.8)*1*1)=24.5m (b) height in 2 sec is S=(29.4*2)+(0.5*(-9.8)*2*2)=39.2m (c) speed of the body in the first second is greater than in that of the second .
