A body is thrown upward with initial speed of 20m/s. After how much time will it reach the ground? (g=10m/s²) *​

u= 20

v= 0

a= -10

therefore, v = u + at

0 = 20 - 10t

10t = 20

t = 2s

now for Distance (S)

S = ut + ½at²

S = 40 - 20

S = 20m

now in the free fall,

u = 0

a = 10

S = 20

therefore,

v²-u² = 2aS

v² = 400

v = 20m/s

Now,

v = u + at

20 = 10t

t = 2s

therefore, total time taken = 4s
