Question :-

A body is thrown vertically up with the initial velocity of 30 m\s then its displacement after 6 seconds will be ?

Answer :-

-30 m/s

☞ Explanation -

Given -

  • Initial Velocity = 0
  • final Velocity = 30 m/s
  • time = 6 seconds

Solution -

( by using first equation of motion , v = u + at )

v = u + ( - a ) t

u = -a × t + v

u = -10 × 6 + 30

u = -60 + 30

u = - 30 m/s

☞ Additional information :-

➸ ✔ The three equations of motion that describe the behavior of a physical system in terms of position, Velocity and acceleration as functions of time are :

i) v = u + at

ii) s = ut + ½at²

iii) v² - u² = 2as

➸ ✔ These equations of motion are valid only when the acceleration is constant .
