A body is thrown vertically upwards from a level ground with a velocity 40 m per second . After 2 seconds another similar body is thrown vertically upwards from the same point with the same velocity .Taking g = 10m/s^2 two bodies will collide each other at which height?

hope it helps you. according to me the stone will collide above 60m above the level ground

hemant1058: yes actually i misunderstood the question.calculate the distance travelled by first stone in 3 sec. using the second equation of motion.actually when the first stone is thrown after 2 seconds another stone is thrown so when first will attain its maximum height the second will only attain half of the height attained by the first stone and after that first stone will fall and second stone will collide to the first when second has completed its journey of 3 second. sorry for my mistake
