Answer:

Explanation:

=> A body is thrown vertically upwards from A point a 125m above the ground it goes upto a maximum height of 250m above the ground and passes through a on its downward journey.

=> At height 250 m the velocity of body will be zero. So, u=0

=> v² - u² = 2as

a = 10 m/s

s = (250-70) = 180 m

As u = 0, Thus,

v² = 2as

v = √2as

= √2*10*180

= √ 3600

= 60 m/s

Hence, The velocity of the body when it is at a height of 70m above the ground is 60m/s.
