A body is thrown vertically upwards.Its velocity goes on decreasing.What happens to its kinetic energy as its velocity becomes zero

It is given that the velocity becomes zero .

So , K.E. = ½mv² = ½*m*0² = 0

So , The kinetic energy of the body will be zero when it's velocity becomes zero ..........
