Hello Mate,

Here is your answer,

Given:

  • Velocity = 19.6 m/s

To find:

  • The maximum height of the body

Formulas Used:

  • Maximum height =  \frac{ {u}^{2} }{2g}

Solution:

As the initial velocity is already given, we can use the formula.

By Substituting value in the formula we get,

 \frac{ {u}^{2} }{2g}  \\  \\  =  \frac{ ({19.6)}^{2} }{2 \times 9.8}  \\  \\  =  \frac{19.6 \times 19.6}{19.6}  \\  \\  = 19.6 \: meters

So, the maximum height traveled by the body is 19.6 meters

Hope it helps:)
