Given :-

Initial velocity of body = (4î + 3j) ms-¹

Acceleration due to gravity = g = 10 ms-².

To find

Maximum height attained by the body.

Let the height attained by the body = H.

Resultant of Velocity = √(4)² + (3)²

|u| = √16 + 9

|u| = 5 ms-¹

Using third equation of Motion,

v² - u² = 2gh ( Considering upward motion as negative).

- (5)² = 2 × (-10) H

-25 = - 20 H

H = 25/20

H = 1.25 m

Hence,

The height attained by body = H = 1.25 m
