A body is thrown with velocity of 40 m/s in a direction making an angle of 30° with the horizontal. Calculate i) Horizontal range, ii) Maximum height and iii) Time taken to reach the maximum height.

(1) Horizontal Range = 40*40*sin(60)/g =800 * sqr rt 3 = 800*(1.732)

(2) maxm height = u^2 sin(30)/ 2g = 40m

(3) time taken= usin30 / g = 2 seconds
