A body located 12 meters high from the ground, the gravitational potential energy is 1440 J. Given g = 10 m/s2, determine the value of the mass of the body

Potential Energy= Mass×Acceleration due to gravity×Height 
P=m×g×h
P=1440J, g=10m/s², h=12m

Hence, mass is unknown so we can write,
m= \frac{P}{g×h}
m= \frac{1440}{10×12}
m=12kg

Hence, mass of the object is 12kg.
