Initial Velocity (u) = 0

Final Velocity (v) = 30 m/s.

Time taken = 0.01 seconds.

∴ Acceleration (a) = (v - u)/t

∴ a = (30 - 0)/0.01

⇒ a = 30/0.01

∴ a = 3000 m/s².

Mass of the Hammer = 400 g.

= 0.4 kg.

Now, Using the Second law of the motion,

Force = mass × acceleration.

∴ Force = 0.4 × 3000

⇒ F = 1200 N.

Hence, the Force acting on the nail is 1200 N.

What is your question?

A body mass 250g moving at 25m/s start an object in 0.01 calculate the force acting in an object

Solution=>

Initial Velocity (u) = 0

Final Velocity (v) = 30 m/s.

Time taken = 0.01 seconds.

∴ Acceleration (a) = (v - u)/t

∴ a = (30 - 0)/0.01

a = 30/0.01

∴ a = 3000 m/s².

Mass of the Hammer = 400 g.

= 0.4 kg.

Now, Using the Second law of the motion,

Force = mass × acceleration.

∴ Force = 0.4 × 3000

F = 1200 N

Hope it helps y☆▪☆
