Given info : A body moves along a circular path of radius 60cm at 3 revolution per second.

To find : The linear speed of the body is ...

solution : radius of circular path, r = 60 cm = 0.6 m

angular velocity, ω = 3 rev/s = 3 × 2π rad/s [ ∵ 1 rev = 2π rad]

ω = 6π rad/s

now using formula, v = ωr , where v is linear speed.

now, v = 6π rad/s × 0.6 m = 3.6π m/s = 11.304 m/s

Therefore the linear speed of the body is 11.304 m/s.
