diagonal of rectangular field using Pythagoras theorem,

d = √(30²+20²)

=> √(900 + 400)

=> √1300

=> √100*13

=> 10√13 m

as diagonal is the shortest distance between the starting point and end points in the above problem

displacement = 10√13 m

distance = one length + one breadth

=> 30 m + 20 m = 50 m
