The distance travelled during the first 10 seconds is

distance = velocity*time

= 10*10

=100 meters

The distance travelled during the next 15 seconds is

distance (2)= velocity x time

=15*15

=225 meters.

average velocity = total distance travelled/total time taken

average velocity=(100+225)/(10+15)

=325/25 =  13m/s
