Given :

  • Initial Velocity (u) = 0m/s
  • Distance Travelled (s) = 270m
  • Time Taken (t) = 3 sec.

To Find :

  • Acceleration (a)
  • Final Velocity (v)

Solution :

For Acceleration :

Using 2nd Equation :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{s=ut+\dfrac{1}{2}{at}^{2}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{270=0(3)+\dfrac{1}{2}a{(3)}^{2}}

\longmapsto\tt{270\times{2}=0+9a}

\longmapsto\tt{540=9a}

\longmapsto\tt{a=\cancel\dfrac{540}{9}}

\longmapsto\tt\bold{a=60{m/s}^{2}}

So , The Accerelation of the body is 60m/s²..

Now ,

For Final Velocity :

Using 1st Equation :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{v=u+at}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{v=0+60\times{(3)}}

\longmapsto\tt\bold{v=180m/s}

So , The Final Velocity of the body is 180m/s..

Answer:

velocity = 270/3 = 90 m/s( velocity = displacement/time taken)

acceleration=90/3= 30m/s²(acceleration= velocity/time taken)
