Answer:

600m/s

Explanation:

Initial velocity[u] =o m/s

Distance [s] = 270 m. Time[t] =3

seconds [s] = v= 600m/s

Given :-

  • Initial Velocity = 0 m/s
  • Distance = 270 m
  • Time taken = 3 seconds

To Find :-

  • Velocity of body after 8 seconds = ?

Answer :-

  • To calculate Final Velocity of the body first we have to calculate the Acceleration of the body :]

By using second equation of motion we get :

  • s = ut + ½ at²

where, s = distance, u = Initial Velocity, a = acceleration and t = time.

Now, substitute the given values in above equation :

→ 270 = 0 × 3 + ½ × a × (3)²

→ 270 = ½ × 9a

→ 270 × 2 = 9a

→ 540 = 9a

→ a = 540 ÷ 9

→ a = 60 m/s²

Hence, acceleration of the body is 60 m/.

Now, let's find the Final Velocity of the body by using first equation of motion :

  • v = u + at

Where, v = Final Velocity, u = Initial Velocity, a = acceleration and t = time.

Now, subsitute the given values in first equation of motion :

➻ v = 0 + 60 × 8

➻ v = 60 × 8

➻ v = 480 m/s

Therefore, the Final Velocity acquired by the body is 480 m/s.
