A body moves half of it's distance at a speed of 60km/hr and other half at 90km/hr .What is it's average speed?​

Let the total distance be 2d km.

Now, since first half of journey is done at 30 km/h and the second half of journey is done at 25 km/h, the total time taken is:

d/30 + d/25 = 11 hours ( given total journey time is 11 hour)

==> 11d / 150 = 11; ==> d = 150 km or Total distance travelled= 2 × 150 = 300 km.
