Distance covered = 2 × Circumference of circle
= 2 × (2πr)
= 2 × 2π × 2R
= 8πR
Displacement: Shortest distance between initial and final position.
After 2 complete rounds body is again at its initial position. Hence its displacement will be zero.
= 2 × (2πr)
= 2 × 2π × 2R
= 8πR
