A body moves in a circle of radius 2R. What is the distance covered and displacement of the body after 2 complete rounds?

23
distance after 1 round=circumference of circle
=2πr
=2*22\7*2r
distance after 2 rounds=2(2πr)
=4πr
Displacement=0
as the body completed 2 whole circles and got back at the same position it started.

☆Actually welcome to the concept of the Kinematics of a body in the circular path.....

☆Basically if we see here ...the body is translating in a circular ..path ....
thus the Distance travelled by it will be the path covered by it from the initial to the final point .....

☆Distance travelled will be = 2pi (2R) + 2pi (2R) = 8piR...units..

☆Displacement will be in the form of Angual displacement ....represented by theta...

☆thus the displacememt of the body from the initial and final point will be....
= ZERO....
