speed =d/t =42/10=4.2m/s.
distance in 5s=4.2*5=21m.
displacement=21m.

Answer: The distance covers after 5 sec is 65.94 m and the displacement after 5 sec is 42 m.

Explanation:

Given that,

Diameter d= 42 m

Time t = 10 s

We know that,

Speed = distance /time

v = \dfrac{3.14\times 42}{10}

v = 3.188\ m/s

The distance after 5 sec is

d_{1} = v\times t

d_{1} = 13.188\times 5

d_{1} = 65.94 m

The displacement is the initial point  to final point so, the displacement after 5 sec is equal to the diameter.

So, the displacement is 42 m.

Hence, The distance covers after 5 sec is 65.94 m and the displacement after 5 sec is 42 m.
