If we take a circle and mark the center and the radius as 20cm. Then the body starts moving with the point where we took the radius and takes two complete round and one half round and comes to the opposite direction of the radius point. So, the displacement is the shortest distance between two points.
Therefore, the radius × 2 is known as diameter. And the diameter is the displacement of the body. So, Radius is 20cm and Diameter is (20×2 )cm = 40 cm.
Displacement = 40 cm

Explanation:

Displacement is the shortest distance between initial and final position.

In this case , as the body is moving in circular path ,

displacement [ shortest distance ]from initial position to final position is the diameter of the circle.

Radius = 20 cm

Diameter = 2 x 20 = 40 cm

Displacement = 40 cm
