Given:-

  • Radius of Body = 7cm

  • Body Completed 2.5 Revolution.

To Find:-

  • Distance travelled by body and Displacement covered.

Formulae used:-

  • Circumference of the circle = 2πr

  • Diameter of the circle = 2r.

Now,

Circumference of the Circle = 2πr

Circumference = 2 × 22/7 × 7

Circumference = 44cm

Distance Covered in 2.5 Revolution = 44 × 2.5 = 110cm

Hence, The Distance Covered by body is 110cm.

After Completing 2.5 Revolution body comes in the other side of starting point

So,

Displacement = 2r = 2 × 7 = 14m.

Hence, The Displacement covered by is 14m.

  • In the circular motion Acceleration and speed changes but Velocity remains Constant.

  • Total Distance covered in Circle = 2πr.

  • Displacement Covered = 2r
