Body moves for 60 sec by speed of 20 m/s
therefore, distance = 20 * 60 = 1200m = S1
Retardation,
v= u-at (here v=0)
at=u
60a = 20
a = 1/3m /s^2
S2= ut + 1/2 at^2
since, acceleration is going negative
therefore ,
S2= ut -1/2 at^2
= 20*60 - 1/2 * 1/3 * (60^2)
= 1200 - 1/6 * 3600
= 1200-3600/6
=1200 - 600
= 600m
therefore,
total distance = S1+S2= 1200 + 600 = 1800m
