6m/s for 5s and then covers a distance of 80m with a speed of 8m/s. Calculate its average speed.​

Answer:

speed in first time =6m/s

time taken=5s

therefore distance covered=speed*time

=6*5

=30m

speed in second time=8m/s

distance travelled =80m

therefore time taken=distance/speed

=80/8

=10s

average speed=total distance/total time

=80+30/5+10

=110/15

=7.33m/s
