Suppose the acceleration is a then using the second equation of motion, s=ut+

and putting t=2sec and u=10m/s

we get 20=10×2+a×2

or a=0 that is uniform motion

Distance traveled in 10s = 10*10 = 100m

Distance traveled in next 40s = 40*20= 800m

Velocity = 800+100/40+10

Velocity = 900/50

Velocity = 90/5.

Velocity = 18m/s
