A body moves with speed 10m/s for 10sec,then with a speed of 20m/s for distance 300m find its average speed

Explanation:Distance travelled by object in 10s at 10m/s speed,=Speed×time=10×10=100m-(x1)

And the time(t2) required by the object to travelled 300m-(x2) at a speed of 20m/s is=dist/speed=300/20=15sec=t2

Therefore Avr speed=x2-x1/t2-t1

=300-100/15-10

=200/5

=40m/s
