Yes, Its possible.

A body projected at some angle will have horizontal motion, while Acceleration due to gravity "g" will be acting vertically down.

For example:
When a body tied with rope moves in a vertical circular path, at the bottom most point velocity is horizontal and acceleration is in the vertical direction.
