3=u+0.5a
8=2u+2a
a=2
u=2

sanmitha2712: Thank you so much.The answer is correct but I didn't get how did u get the value of acceleration as 0.5 in the first step.Plzzz send me the reason so that I can understand clearly
LEIGOMAXIMO: s=ut+0.5at^2
sanmitha2712: Thank you so much
sanmitha2712: Can u please explain me how did u get the value of 'a' as 2.
LEIGOMAXIMO: there where 2 equation and unknown
LEIGOMAXIMO: solve them
sanmitha2712: O.K
LEIGOMAXIMO: got it completely?
sanmitha2712: No.... I didn't get completely.I am not getting which formula to use.If u send me all steps I'll really be thankful to u
LEIGOMAXIMO: i have given formula . u have time . put it then 2 eqn . the solve for 2 variable

C1:
D=3m
T=1s
:.s=d/t=3/1=3m/s(u)
C2:
D=8m
T=2s
:.s=d/t=8/2=4m/s(v)
V=u+at
4=3+2a
4+3=2a
1=2a
1/2=a
A)3m/s
B)1/2=.5m/s²
