1) the initial velocity can be calculated by the relation

$\frac{distance}{time}$

so intial distance is 3m and time is 1sec

so initial velocity is 3m/s

2)acceleration can be calculated by the relation

$\frac{final \: velocity \: - initial \: velocity}{final \: time - initial \: time}$

here initial velocity is 3m/s and final velocity is 4m/s so

the acceleration is 1 m/s^2
