as we know,

a =  \frac{(v - u)}{t}

given,

a=2 m/s^2

t= 2 second

putting values,

2 =  \frac{(v - u)}{2}

v - u = 4 \: m {s}^{ - 1}

so,

change in velocity is 4 m/s
