A body moving with an acceleration of 5 m/sec² started with velocity of 10 m/sec. What will be the distance traversed in 10 seconds?

Explanation:

Given that,

initial velocity (u) = 10 m/s

acceleration (a) = 5 m/s square

time (t) = 10 s

Second equation of Uniformly accelerated Motion.

s = ut + 1/2 at×t

s = (10 × 10) + (1/2×5×10)

s = 100 + 25

s = 125 m

Answer: Distance travelled during 10s is 125metres
