Let v1 = 2 m/s when the t = 1 second and v2 = 8 m/s when t = 24 seconds
We know the equation
v = u +at
Now at v = 2m/s when t =1
=> u+a = 2
and at v= 8 m/s and t = 24
=> u+24a = 8
Now let the distance covered by the body in time 1 sec to 24sec be r
r = 1/2 a t^2 [ at t = 21 sec] - 1/2 a t^2 [ at t = 1 sec]
= 1/2 2 x 21^2 - 1/2 2 x 1
= 440 meter
Now this distance is covered within (21-1) = 22 sec
therefore the velocity will be= 440/22 = 20 m/s
