A body moving with uniform acceleration Travels 84 metre in the first 6 second and 180 m in the next 5 seconds. find: (a) the initial velocity ,and (b) the acceleration of the body ?

a) Initial velocity = Initial displacement/time

u = 84 / 6  

u = 14 m/s  

b) a = v - u / t = 180 / 5 - u / t  

= 36 - 14 / 6 + 5

= 22 / 11  

= 2 m/s/s
