A body of 2 kg is accelerating with an acceleration of 2m/s of a woooden table .force of friction acting on the body due to wooden surface is 0.4 n . What is the net force acting on the body?

mass= 2 kg

acceleration= 2m/s^2

force= 0.4 N

Force1= mass× acceleration

= 2 kg × 2 m/s^2

= 4 N

Force2= 0.4 N

Net force= 4 N + 0.4 N

= 4.4 N

(Remember Force1 is the force with which the body is accelerating and Force2 is the force of friction which is external. Thus, you add them and get the net force)
