Given:-
- Area = 10×5
- Force = 30 N
To Find:-
- Pressure on the body ,p
Solution:-
Firstly we convert the unit here
Area = 10cm×5cm
Area = 50cm²
1m² = 10000cm²
∴ 50cm² = 50/10000 = 0.005 m²
Now we know that
→ Pressure = Force/Area
→ p = F/a
Substitute the value we get
→ p = 30/0.005
→ p = 30×1000/5
→ p = 6×1000
→ p = 6000 Pa
∴ The pressure acting on the body is 6000 Pascal.
