A body of length 1 m having cross-sectional area 0.75 m2 has heat flow through it at the rate of 6000 JIS.
The difference between two ends of conductor if K = 200 J m-1K-1 is
(1) 40°C
(2) 80°C
(3) 100°C

Answer:

Let the difference be X.

We know that :

Q=\frac{KA(\theta_2-\theta_1)}{l}

So :

6000 = 200 × 0.75 × X/1

= > X = 30/0.75

= > X = 30 × 4/3

= > X = 40°C

Option 1 is correct!
