So initially, K.E.=0 and P.E.=mgh=500J

So total mechanical energy is 500J which will be conserved throughout the journey.

Now,after 6s the speed of the body will be 60m/s

So K.E.=1/2×m×v^2=180J

So P.E.=M.E. - K.E.=500J-180J=320J
