Weight of body=0.1×10=1 N
Maximum frictional force =0.5×5 =2.5 N
Therefore the body can be balanced by 5N force.
Since the body is in equilibrium, weight is balanced by frictional force.
Therefore frictional force =Weight = 1N
Maximum frictional force =0.5×5 =2.5 N
Therefore the body can be balanced by 5N force.
Since the body is in equilibrium, weight is balanced by frictional force.
Therefore frictional force =Weight = 1N

hi,
mass of block = 0.1kg
horizontal force(N) =5N
u = 0.5
frictional force = uN
= ( 0.5 ) ( 5 )
= 2.5
therefore the applied force is more than maximum frictional force
so the body is in equillibrium
i.e., Weight (W) = Mg
= ( 0.1 )( 9.8 )
= 0.98
frictional force is equal to weight
which is approximately equal to 1
hope it helps...❤
