GIVEN :-

  • A body of mass 0.5 kg is whirled in a verticle circle of radius 0.5 m with an angular frequency 10 rad/sec find the tension at the lowest point

SOLUTION :-

We know that,

  • tension in the string when the body is at the top T = Centrifugal force - gravitational force

so,

m × square of angular velocity × radius - m × g

  • = 0.5 × 10 × 10 × 0.5 - 0.5 × 10
  • = 25 - 5
  • = 20 N

FINAL ANSWER :-

 \huge \red \star \:   \huge\boxed{ \implies \sf{20 \:N} }
