Energy released =energy absorbed by spring
when fall from h height when ball fall height h
so body do work
work done by gravitat. potential Energy=work done to compress spring
1/2*K*x^2=mgh
1/2*1.25*10^6*x^2=1*10*100
If you solve then
x^2=1/625
x=1/25
x=0.04m
x=4cm
