a body of mass 1 kg initially at rest is moving by horizontal force of 0.5 Newton on a smooth frictionless table calculate the work done by the force in 10 seconds and show that it is equal to the change in kinetic energy of the object​

acceleration = force / mass

=0.5 m/ s^2

distance = ut + 1/2at^2

= 0×10 + 1/2 × 0.5 × 10^2

= 25 meter

work = force × displacement

= 0.5× 25

= 12.5 joule.
