A body of mass 10 kg is kept at a height 10 metre from the ground when it is released after sometime its kinetic energy becomes 450 joules ..what will be the potential energy of the body at that instant ???

PE (Potential Energy)= mgh

=10×10×9.8

=980 joule

Explanation:

K.E is the half product of mass and square of velocity

So KE.= 1/2mv2

= 1/2 10kg × v square

450= 5 × v square

v = 90m/s

P.E = mgh

=10×9.8 ×10

=980joules
