A body of mass 10 kg moving with a velocity of 10 m/sec on a horizontal plane. Then the magnitude of work done by the frictional force if it
comes to rest finally is:

m = 10 kg

v = 10 m/s

Work done = ½mv²

 =  > work \: done =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 10 \times 100

 =  > work \: done \:  = 500

Hence, work done is 500 J
