Hii dear,
You posted incomplete question.

◆ Complete question -
A body of mass 10kg moving with speed 3m/s collides with another stationary body of mass 5kg. As a result the two bodies stick together. The KE of composite mass will be-

◆ Answer-
K.E. = 30 J

◆ Explanation-
# Given-
m1 = 10 kg
u1 = 3 m/s
m2 = 5 kg
u2 = 0 m/s

# Solution-
Let v be velocity of composite mass after collision.

Using law of conservation of momentum-
m1u1 + m2u2 = (m1+m2)v
10×3 + 5×0 = (10+5)v
30 = 15v
v = 2 m/s

Kinetic energy is calculated by-
K.E. = 1/2 (m1+m2)v^2
K.E. = 1/2 (10+5) × 2^2
K.E. = 30 J

Therefore, kinetic energy of composite mass is 30 J.

Hope this helps you...
