i) F = ma
m = 100/1000 = 0.1 kg
a = -g = -9.8m/s²
F = ma = 0.1×-9.8 = -0.98N
ii) Magnitude of acceleration = 9.8m/s²
Direction of acceleration = vertically downwards
iii) v² = u²+2as
0 = u²-2gh
2gh = u²
h = u²/2g = 49×49/2×9.8 = 122.5m
iv) v = u+at
0 = 49-9.8t
t = 49/9.8 = 5s
