A body of mass 100 kg is lifted up by 10m. find.
(1)The amount of work done
(2) P.E. of body at the height
(Given g= 10 m s-2)

mass of boy = 100kg
h= 10m( displacement)
force acting on body is gravitational force
weight= f= m*g= 100*9.8=980N
work= f*s
= 980*10
W=9800J
p.E.= mgh
=100*9.8*10
p.E=9800J
that is amount of work done is equal to change in P.E.(both are same)
