I think your question is ----> A body of mass 10g floats with 3/4 th of its volume above water. find its relative density.
solution :- since , the body floats with 3/4 th of its volume outside the water , (1 - 3/4) = 1/4 th of its volume inside water.
so, density of body = 1/4th of body's volume inside water × density of water
= 1/4 × 1000 = 250kg/m³
volume of body = mass of body/density of body
= 10/(250) = 1/25 = 0.04 m³
solution :- since , the body floats with 3/4 th of its volume outside the water , (1 - 3/4) = 1/4 th of its volume inside water.
so, density of body = 1/4th of body's volume inside water × density of water
= 1/4 × 1000 = 250kg/m³
volume of body = mass of body/density of body
= 10/(250) = 1/25 = 0.04 m³
