A body of mass 10kg falling freely from a height at 40m. Find the velocity of the body after 2s and also find the time taken by the body to reach the ground. ​

A body falling from a high Minaret travels 40m in the last 2 seconds of its fall to ground. Height of Minaret in metres is(take g = 10m/s^2 )

v²=u²+2as

v=√0+2×10×40

=20× 1.4

= 28m/s

v=u+at

t=28/10

=2.8 seconds
